In a sign that British music maybe coming out of hibernation the standard of bands in this year's Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition is much higher than 2011. The Kitschen may have one of the worst names on the list but they prove you should never judge a band by it's name. Deadline is sweet, honest, pop music. It sounds like a Tyke Kate Nash fronting the Long Blondes. Once it's inside your head it'll never escape. In a perfect world Deadline would be number one for weeks and Tulisa Contostavlos would be scanning groceries at the local Tesco Metro.
Thanks guys for making this judging job even more difficult.
