Wild Swim are one of the bands from the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition Long list that really caught the ear of the Devil. If imitation is truly the sincerest form of flattery then Hayden Thorpe and his similarly monickered Wild Beasts should be blushing. They may be heavily influenced by Wild Beasts but that doesn't mean that the aptly titled Echo is simply a carbon copy. There's something about Wild Swim that suggests they'll throw off any similarities to their Cumbrian inspiration and find their own, unique voice.
